EDMONTON — A man is in an Edmonton hospital with a bullet wound to the back after an apparent early morning argument with a group of people in a car.
Police say the 20-year-old victim was shot with a small-calibre rifle while he was exchanging words with four people in a vehicle in a northeast neighbourhood.
He suffered a non-life threatening wound while trying to run from the scene.
The car sped away but the four people inside were arrested soon after and the rifle was recovered.
Police say charges are pending.
