Man whose body was found in ditch east of Edmonton was murdered

FORT SASKATCHEWAN — An autopsy on the body of a man found in a ditch northeast of Edmonton shows he was murdered.

FORT SASKATCHEWAN — An autopsy on the body of a man found in a ditch northeast of Edmonton shows he was murdered.

RCMP are not releasing the cause of death, but have identified the victim as Bao Tien Cao, 28, of Prince George, B.C.

His body was found beside a country road last Friday near Fort Saskatchewan.

They say Cao was last seen a week ago in Edmonton.

He had been visiting family in the area.
