McMurray wins triple gold

Kyra McMurray was a triple gold medalist for the Red Deer Synchronized Swim Club at the MASY (Manitoba. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon) championships during the weekend.McMurray won the figures and solo routine and the championship in the 10-and-under division.

CALGARY — Kyra McMurray was a triple gold medalist for the Red Deer Synchronized Swim Club at the MASY (Manitoba. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon) championships during the weekend.

McMurray won the figures and solo routine and the championship in the 10-and-under division.

In the 12-and-under class, Mercedes Patrick was fourth in the figures and teamed with Kallan Packard to take third in the duet routine and championship.

In the team category, Patrick, McMurray, Packard and Mya Freeman were fourth in the routine and third in the championship.

Heather Mast was third in the 13-15 year-old figures with Emma Dickman and Kate Jensen third in duet routine and fourth in the championship.

In the team competition, Dickman, Jensen, Mast, Larissa Kaube and Hope Sorokan were sixth in the routine and fifth in the championship.
