Olds is going medieval for its second annual library fundrasier.The Pillage the Village event will transport participants back to the time of knights, peasants and jousters with musicians and merchants alike.

Olds is going medieval for its second annual library fundrasier.

The Pillage the Village event will transport participants back to the time of knights, peasants and jousters with musicians and merchants alike. Everyone is welcome to attend the May 3 event featuring a feast with entertainment, costumes, authentic food, drink as well as tournaments and a marketplace.

Tickets to the event range from $30 to $60, based on which class a person wants, ranging from a peasant to nobility. With peasants not getting cutlery and being seated further from the entertainment while nobility gets cutlery and sits closer.

Doors to the event open at 6 p.m.
