Jayden Sittler made 37 saves for the shutout, while Teagan Kooman, Ross Heidt, Trey deGraaf and Brad Makofka each scored once. Red Deer held a 38-37 edge in shots.

On Saturday, the Chiefs were 4-1 winners over the Grande Prairie Storm as Tyler Steenbergen tallied twice and deGraaf and Andrew Nielsen each potted a goal. Each team had 25 shots on goal.
