Red Deer teams earned one of a possible eight points in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League play during the weekend.

Red Deer teams earned one of a possible eight points in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League play during the weekend.

The Red Deer Rebels White tied Airdrie 1-1 on the road Saturday before losing 5-0 to Lethbridge at home Sunday.

Chase Olsen scored for the Rebels against Airdrie while Branden Bilodeau made 27 saves in goal.

Brody Dirk took the loss against Lethbridge, despite making 35 saves.

Meanwhile the Rebels Black lost 3-2 to Lethbridge Saturday and 6-2 to the Royals in Calgary Sunday.

Tyler Steenbergen and Zach Knight scored Saturday with Steenbergen and Spencer Otto connecting Sunday.

Carson Franks finished with 28 saves against Lethbridge and 34 against Calgary.

Minor Midget AAA

The Red Deer IROC Chiefs got a goal from Dylan Houston with 52 seconds remaining in the third period to edge the AC Avalanche 5-4 Saturday.

Trey DeGraaf added a pair of goals with Ross Heidt and Scott Ternes adding single markers. Joseph Desrosiers finished with 20 saves in goal.

On Sunday IROC downed Cochrane 6-2 as Jordie Lawson and Heidt scored twice each and Gabe Bast and Houston once each. Thomas Della Siega was in goal.

Meanwhile, the Red Deer NorthStar Chiefs dropped a 4-1 decision to the Calgary Blackhawks.

Chris Gerrie scored for Red Deer while Rylan Bardick made 17 saves.

Midget AA

The Red Deer Pro-Stitch Chiefs downed the Bow Valley Timberwolves 4-0 on the road Saturday.

Brady Nydokus made 27 saves for the shutout while Jack Goranson, Karsten Banack, Kyle Moore and Derrick Morrell scored once each

In other action the Red Deer Elks fell 4-3 to the undefeated Calgary Blackhawks Saturday and 4-3 to Airdrie Sunday

Spencer Yeats had two goals and Connor Einhorn one for the Elks against Calgary. Brady Jewan finished with 29 saves.

Midget A Plus

The Red Deer Kings Engery Chiefs got three goals from Jacob Bottomley in downing Delburne 10-3.

Wyatt Weatherall added two goals while Kyran Karol, Taylor Sincennes, Jordan Jones, Dustin Paul and Scott Bailey added single markers. Colton Zemlak had two goals and assisted on a single goal by Brant Martin for Delburne.

Bantam AA

The Red Deer Ramada Chiefs battled the Innisfail Flyers to a 6-6 tie Saturday.

Reid Sterling scored three times, Kirt Fortney twice and Declan Johnston once for the Chiefs, who lost 5-1 to the Wheatland Warriors on Sunday.

Ryan Vandervlis scored once while goalie Michael Ozga faced 58 shots.

Bantam A

The Red Deer Frontier Bus Lines Chiefs posted a pair of weekend wins — 4-3 over the Sundre Huskies and 4-2 to the Thunderstars.

Scoring against Sundre were Mathew Giele, Beau Aubin, Bronson Spearing and Samuel Danchek, while winning goalie Nolan MacGregor made 41 saves.

Spearing, Danchek, Brad Penney and Kody Knash were the marksmen versus the Thunderstars.

Atom AA

The Red Deer KFC Chiefs played a pair of A division teams, beating Olds 13-3 and Stettler 5-2.

Jace Paarup had four goals against Olds with Josh Zinger and Colby Chavez-Leech adding two each and Jarvis Gaume, Cole Hardman, Quincey Johnson, Jager Larsen and Hunter Marchildon one apiece.

Jett Jones had two goals for Olds and Ronan Seeley one.

Zinger scored twice against Stettler with singles added by Paarup, Marchildon and Gaume.

Daylan Kuefler had both Stettler markers.
