A motorcycle driver has been killed in a collision involving a moose and another vehicle north of Edmonton.

GIBBONS — A motorcycle driver has been killed in a collision involving a moose and another vehicle north of Edmonton.

RCMP say the motorcyclist fell off his machine when he hit the moose on Highway 28A near Gibbons on Sunday night.

He was lying in the road when the driver of a car that was following also hit the moose and then hit the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
