It’s motorcycle season again and Red Deer RCMP are warning drivers to keep a look out after a rider was injured in a collision on Tuesday.
RCMP were called about 9 a.m. after a motorcycle and a car collided at the intersection of Spruce Drive and 35th Street.
Police say the motorcycle was heading north on Spruce Drive when the car turned left into its path at 35th Street. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated and released.
The car driver was given a ticket for failing to proceed safely after stopping at an intersection.
