I took my eight year old buddy, Logan, on a birthday date to Moxie’s Restaurant last week.
On our way home, Logan realized his $40 birthday money that had been in his pocket all night was missing.
I called the gal at Moxie’s to see if they could do a quick search in case it was still on the floor somewhere and after a few moments she came back to the phone saying it was nowhere to be found but that Peter, our waiter, had decided to rally the staff around and collect $40 to give Logan and for us to turn around and come and pick it up.
When we arrived, Peter came to the door with lots of the staff and presented Logan not just the $40 but with $75 in cash and a $5 Moxie’s gift card that they had collected!
We were both so pleasantly surprised and we just wanted Red Deer to know that the staff at Moxie’s are terrific and to give big kudos to Peter and all the staff involved for opening their hearts for his dejected eight-year-old.
