Also scoring for the Mustangs, who led 2-1 after 40 minutes following a scoreless opening period, were Steven Fernie and Corey Scott. Chase McMurphy contributed two assists.

Spencer Dorowicz and Sean Davies replied for the Grizzlys, who were zero-for-three on the power play. Calgary was zero-for-five with a man advantage.

Jay Deo made 28 saves for the Mustangs, while Ethan Jemieff stopped 22 shots for the visitors before 375 fans at Father David Bauer Arena.

The Grizzlys host the Calgary Canucks tonight and entertain the Canmore Eagles Friday. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
