Jason Nicolay and Justin Hicks dropped in 21 points each to lead Blarney Stone to a 77-66 victory over Carstar in Central Alberta Senior Men’s Basketball Association play Sunday. Darryl Hemstreet had 25 points and Jamie Brown 16 for Carstar.
Meanwhile, Circle T got 13 points from Bow Rockarts and 11 from James Johanson in a 56-42 win over the Vikings, who got 16 points from Mark Vos and eight from Tom Judd.
As well, Cam Kusiek had 24 points to lead the Tiffany’s Fatboys to an 80-78 win over the Grandview All-Stars.
In another contest, Courtney Fleurartin drained 14 points to lead CUC past Triple A Batteries 65-53. Andre Touchette scored 27 points and Pat Hicks chipped in with 10 in a losing cause.
