CAMROSE — A judge has denied bail to a man charged with the attempted murder of two Alberta Mounties.

Sawyer Clarke Robison also faces 13 weapons charges.

Constables Sheldon Shah (’SHAW) and Sid Gaudette were shot and wounded on Feb. 7 when they went to execute a search warrant on Robison’s family farm near Killam.

Robison’s uncle, Brad Clarke, was found dead in the home and police later issued a warrant for Robison’s arrest.

Robison, who is 27, was arrested peacefully three days later, after his parents issued a public plea through the media to turn himself in.

He is next set to appear in court on May 1.
