Non-stop fun at Bower Ponds

Framed in the branches of a nearby poplar tree, Ivan Pangalangan and Natalie Kolkman spin each other on the ice at Bower Ponds Tuesday afternoon. Bright sunshine and warm weather brought a few people out to skate on the ponds Tuesday who enjoyed perfect ice conditions and lots of room to move around on the ice. With spring-like weather, the ponds have been a hotbed of activities this past winter. Continued warm weather this week will continue attracting the crowds.
