Notre Dame prevailed 25-17, 22-25, 14-25, 29-27, 15-12 to improve its record to 6-1.

Elsewhere, the visiting Hunting Hills Lightning blanked the Ponoka Broncs 3-0, winning by scores of 25-15, 30-28, 25-17.

Ryan Beaston was the Lightning player of the match with Nathan Huzar taking the same honours for Ponoka.

In the JV contest, Ponoka won 20-25, 25-14, 25-19, 25-23.

Brandit Seibel was player of the game for the winners and Chris Mottiz was named top player for Hunting Hills.

In senior girls action Tuesday, Hunting Hills downed the Lindsay Thurber Raiders 25-23, 25-17, 19-25, 26-24.

Thea McLachlin was player of the match for the Lightning and Jorgi Flewell for LTCHS. In aother match, Ponoka downed Camrose 25-11, 25-20, 25-20 with Jennica Krause their player of the match. Skylar Symuk was Camrose’s top player.
