Occupational Health and Safety is investigating an incident at Wolverine Gun and Tackle after a 56-year-old woman was pinned between a gun safe and the inside of a truck on Thursday afternoon.

Occupational Health and Safety is investigating an incident at Wolverine Gun and Tackle after a 56-year-old woman was pinned between a gun safe and the inside of a truck on Thursday afternoon.

Occupational Health and Safety spokesperson Lisa Glover said around 2 p.m. the female employee of the gun shop and two other workers were moving a gun safe on a pallet when the safe tipped off the jack and pinned a worker between the safe and the wall of the truck they were moving it from.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was sent to Red Deer Regional Hospital. She has since been released.
