Occupy Red Deer will hold its third event on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in City Hall Park to discuss future rallies.

The first gathering in Red Deer attracted less than 30 people on Oct. 22.

Occupy Red Deer participants are looking to sustain the movement.

Global rallies were sparked by the Occupy movement that began in New York in September and focused on social and economic inequality, high unemployment, greed and corruption.

Internationally, many occupy sites remained active with protestors in large cities. Some were shut down by government or police.

Organizers encourage individuals and groups to come to the event on Sunday in Red Deer to meet, discuss and get involved.
