Oil Kings even WHL final with Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — Rhett Rachinski scored his second goal of the game in overtime as the Edmonton Oil Kings evened the Western Hockey League final at two games apiece with a 4-3 win over the Portland Winterhawks on Tuesday.

The Oil Kings came back after blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period. Game 5 is Thursday in Edmonton.

Tyler Maxwell and Stephane Legault also scored for the Oil Kings.

Sven Bartschi scored his 12th and 13th goals of the post-season for Portland. Marcel Noebels added a goal and an assist.

Laurent Brossoit made 39 saves for the Oil Kings. Mac Carruth stopped 38 shots for the Winterhawks.
