On patrol for all of us

We would like to thank the residents of Red Deer for their support and participation in the Red Deer City Citizens on Patrol Program this past year.

We would like to thank the residents of Red Deer for their support and participation in the Red Deer City Citizens on Patrol Program this past year.

We would like to give thanks to Telus Communications for funding that helped purchase some much-needed equipment. Also, the Red Deer COP would like to thank all the citizens of Red Deer for generously donating through our many donation tins placed around the city.

Volunteers patrol our city in pairs of two, being the “eyes and ears of the community,” reporting suspicious activities to the RCMP such as break and enters, impaired driving, vandalism, stolen vehicles, etc.

The RCMP may be able to identify a bigger issue or trend going on in our city because of the information we record and report.

The executive board invite everyone to attend our annual general meeting on Thursday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Downtown RCMP Detachment.

This is a great way to get information on how the program works. Special presentation by the RCMP Dog Section.
