The Red Deer Optimist Rebels employed a balanced attack and got a 26-save effort from Dasan Sydora in a 5-3 Alberta Midget Hockey League win over the Sherwood Park Kings Wednesday.

SHERWOOD PARK — The Red Deer Optimist Rebels employed a balanced attack and got a 26-save effort from Dasan Sydora in a 5-3 Alberta Midget Hockey League win over the Sherwood Park Kings Wednesday.

Scoring for the winners were Logan Fisher, Stefan Danielson, Tanner Lomsnes, Brady Bakke and Rory Davidson. The Rebels will be in St. Albert Saturday to face the North Division leading Raiders and will host the Grande Prairie Storm at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Arena.
