CALGARY — Two men and a woman in Calgary had to make a quick trip to hospital after an overzealous pet dog got caught up in a family spat and started biting.
The male Staffordshire terrier started chomping when a argument Sunday at a northeast neighbourhood home started growing louder.
Mark Travadi, who owns the one-and-a-half-year-old dog, says he was just arriving at his home when the attack happened.
Travadi says the fight involving his brother and other family members go so heated it stressed out his dog, which became aggressive.
The dog is being quarantined and assessed for 10 days by city animal bylaw services, but there is no word on what the canine’s fate may be.
