Ponoka RCMP officers are warning the public that there have been several counterfeit $100 bills that have appeared throughout Ponoka.

Ponoka RCMP officers are warning the public that there have been several counterfeit $100 bills that have appeared throughout Ponoka.

Police officers are urging the public to use the security features incorporated in the bills to ensure that they are authentic.

Anyone with information that could assist investigators is asked to contact Ponoka RCMP at 403-783-4471 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
