Pizza outlet holdup suspect being sought

The armed robbery of an east-end pizza place last month has police looking for a suspect.

At about 9:20 p.m. on Aug. 29, Red Deer RCMP were called to a reported armed robbery at Buster’s Pizza in Deer Park.

According to an RCMP release, a lone male suspect entered the store located at 60 Donlevy Ave., brandished a knife and demanded money from the staff.

The suspect then left the store through the front door with an undisclosed amount of cash.

RCMP police dog services immediately attended to assist RCMP officers in searching the area, but the suspected was not located.

No staff were injured during the robbery.

Police describe the suspect as Caucasian, about 1.77 to 1.82 metres (five foot 10 to six feet) tall. He has a medium build and was clean shaven during the robbery. He wore black pants, a black toque, sunglasses and light brown leather gloves.
