Grade one students from Lauren Foord’s class at Annie L. Gaetz Elementary show off their planetary observations in pastel this week. The class is participating in a program with the Alberta Society of Artists Travelling Exhibition Program, where the students learn how to describe, analyze, interpret and judge art work. The students also get the chance to see art by professional artists in a gallery set up in one of the school’s hallways.
