Two Calgary motorists will be zooming to court after being caught driving at extreme speeds south of High River.

HIGH RIVER — Two Calgary motorists will be zooming to court after being caught driving at extreme speeds south of High River.

Police say the two cars were caught driving more than 200 km/h Monday night in an 80 km/h zone.

One of the vehicles was clocked at 220.

Under Alberta traffic laws people found guilty of driving at extreme speeds face fines and may have their vehicles impounded.

The two drivers are to appear in Okotoks provincial court Oct. 15.
