Police are trying to figure out why a portable toilet blew to bits at a site west of Sundre sometime last month.
Sundre RCMP received a report on Friday that a biffy had been damaged in an explosion, but the exact time of the incident is unknown, said Sgt. Patricia Neely, a media relations officer for the RCMP in Alberta.
RCMP explosive disposal experts confirmed that an explosive device caused the damage, but did not find a device in the area, Neely said in a statement released on Monday.
There were no injuries reported to police.
