Police probe possible triple homicide

Police in Gatineau, Que., are investigating a possible triple homicide in an affluent neighbourhood.

GATINEAU, Que. — Police in Gatineau, Que., are investigating a possible triple homicide in an affluent neighbourhood.

Police have cordoned off an area around 64 rue Felix-Leclerc in Aylmer, across the Ottawa River from the national capital, but aren’t yet saying much.

A 911 emergency call came in just after the lunch hour and it didn’t take long for dozens of police and emergency vehicles to swarm the scene.

A short time later, officers were going door-to-door interviewing residents.

A police spokesman said more details were expected to be released soon.

Investigators were also looking at an abandoned vehicle a few blocks away, filled with children’s toys, to see whether it was connected to the crime scene.
