CALGARY — Calgary police answering a domestic dispute call used a Taser on a man they say was choking a woman.
Police went to a home Sunday evening after someone called 911 saying a man armed with a knife was assaulting his family.
When police arrived, they saw a man choking a 52-year-old woman and fired a Taser which forced the man to let go.
They also found a 24-year-old woman with several stab wounds.
Police say a mother and daughter were taken to hospital in stable condition, while the stepfather was not injured.
