Ty Simpson, 13, of Red Deer soars off a jump under the power lines in Westlake Tuesday afternoon. Simpson along with his brother Jake have been honing their skiing and snowboarding skills at Canyon this winter where they say the conditions have been excellent, especially after the snow storm last weekend.
