The Red Deer Pro Flo Rage bantam A team were 1-2 in the Edmonton Ladies Early Bird Tournament.

They lost 11-1 to the Calgary Edge and 11-3 to the Edmonton Dirt Bags before ending the tournament on a positive note by defeating Edmonton SWAT 10-5.

In the first game Cassidy Leer and Latisha Carlson both contributed two singles while Shaye Christensen took the loss.

In second game Sarah Marfleet had two of the Rages’ four hits.

The Rage saved their best for last as they pounded out 18 hits against the SWAT. Teneal Mofford, in relief of Charly Just, was the winning pitcher. Marfleet and Jade Lee had three singles each while Breanna Burkard-Smith chipped in with a single and a double.
