Property assessments should be in your hands

Property owners who have not received their assessment notices yet are being asked to contact the City of Red Deer.

Property owners who have not received their assessment notices yet are being asked to contact the City of Red Deer.

Information from a property assessment notice helps to calculate 2012 property taxes.

Tax bills are not disputable so people are asked to look over their assessments before the appeal deadline of March 19.

If you have not received your notice, it is available by visiting the Revenue and Assessment Services office at City Hall or by calling 403-342-8126.

More information about property assessments and taxes is available by visiting www.reddeer.ca/tax.
