Re: the revelation that MLAs on the Standing Committee on Privileges, Elections, Standing Orders and Printing get paid $1,000 per month even though the committee has not met since 2008.
This is the kind of thing that blackens everyone involved in public life.
It is not something that has to be reviewed or studied.
It is just plain wrong and should be ended immediately.
No ifs, ands, buts or maybes.
Just a quick end to the practice followed by a sincere apology to all the taxpayers of Alberta.
