Public invited to an open house on permanent history exhibit

The public is invited to an open house on the permanent history exhibit slated for the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery. The open house will take place on June 13 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Both the board and staff will present the final designs for the $1.5-million exhibit. Refreshments and snacks will be served.

The permanent exhibition’s footprint is pegged at 4,200 square feet, approximately one-half of the existing gallery space.

The remaining 3,300 square feet of gallery space will support the changing exhibit program. The museum and art gallery is set to open the exhibit by March 2013.
