OKOTOKS — A Quebec woman was killed when the car she was in hit two trees and a light standard in an Alberta town.
Police say 20-year-old Eve Parisi of Sainte-Catherine was ejected and died in hospital.
She was a rear passenger in a Ford Mustang that was speeding along a boulevard in Okotoks, just south of Calgary, when the driver lost control.
The driver, who tried to flee, was not seriously injured.
A male passenger in the front seat was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say alcohol may also have been a factor and they are considering whether to lay charges.
