The Red Deer U12 Rage Black dropped a 16-7 decision to the West Valley Angry Birds in the final of the Nose Creek fastpitch tournament.The Rage won the semifinal 13-12 after beating the Nose Creek Spitfires 16-12 and the Nose Creek Ninjas 11-10 and losing to the Angry Bird 16-7 in round-robin play.

The Red Deer U12 Rage Black dropped a 16-7 decision to the West Valley Angry Birds in the final of the Nose Creek fastpitch tournament.

The Rage won the semifinal 13-12 after beating the Nose Creek Spitfires 16-12 and the Nose Creek Ninjas 11-10 and losing to the Angry Bird 16-7 in round-robin play.

• The Red Deer U12 A Rage posted a 5-1 record in a round-robin tournament in Edmonton.

They beat St. Albert 14-3, Lloydminster 7-2 and Wetaskiwin 8-5 on Saturday before losing 12-10 to St. Albert and beating Prince Albert 5-4 and Wetaskiwin 10-8 Sunday.
