The Lindsay Thurber Raiders took both ends of the Central Alberta High School Senior Basketball League doubleheader from the visiting Stettler Wildcats Tuesday, winning the girls’ contest 64-30 and the boys’ game 92-30.
Jenna Stone had 15 points and Rachel Bysterveld nine for the LTCHS girls while Claire Astenes had 13 points and Jamie Ternes nine for Stettler
Jonah Penner dropped in 26 points and Kane Weik 20 for the LTCHS boys with Ty Page had eight for Stettler.
In other boys’ play the Notre Dame Cougars downed West Central Rebels of Rocky Mountain House 54-32 with Jordan Handel hitting 21 points. C.J. Bott had 10 in a losing cause.
