RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old Red Deer girl.

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old Red Deer girl.

Police say Blossom Spotted Eagle is low functioning and suicidal. She may be on her way to Siksika Nation, which is about a one-hour’s drive east of Calgary.

Spotted Eagle was last seen leaving the Denovan Group Home in Deer Park about 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

She is aboriginal, five-feet-six (1.68 m) tall, 165 pounds (75 kg) with long, straight black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black winter jacket with fur around the hood, black jeans and black boots.

Anyone with information on Spotted Eagle’s whereabouts is asked to call Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
