Red Deer RCMP are helping Trail, B.C., police in their search for a missing man known to have ties in Red Deer. Twenty-three-year-old Gavin Wade Ballard of Trail was last seen on July 14 at about 5:30 p.m. in his home town.

Red Deer RCMP are helping Trail, B.C., police in their search for a missing man known to have ties in Red Deer.

Twenty-three-year-old Gavin Wade Ballard of Trail was last seen on July 14 at about 5:30 p.m. in his home town.

While RCMP in B.C. have not been able to determine his whereabouts, Ballard has ties to the Red Deer area and may have travelled here.

Ballard is described as: Aboriginal, 1.7 metres (five-foot-seven) tall, 86kg (190 pounds), with straight black shoulder-length hair, a moustache and goatee.

He was driving a 2006 black two-door Chevrolet Cobalt with a sunroof, an ‘N’ sign and a ‘AM Ford’ sticker on the back, with B.C. licence 248XRX.
