WANHAM — An Alberta RCMP officer is in stable condition in hospital after suffering injuries in an altercation during a traffic stop.
Cpl. Carol McKinley says the officer from the Spirit River detachment responded to a call about an erratic driver on Wednesday afternoon.
She says the altercation took place after the suspect vehicle was stopped.
RCMP are still looking for the person or persons responsible.
