Red Deer College picked up silver and bronze awards at a ceremony recognizing communications achievements at community and technical colleges.

The college won silver in the Foundation Annual Report Category for Case for Support — Creating Our Future Together.

A bronze went to the college’s RDC Series Summer School of the Arts in the Class Schedule Category.

The Paragon Awards were handed out last week at the annual conference in San Francisco of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. There were 1,800 entries from 276 institutions from across Canada and the U.S.

“This is a great accomplishment for RDC,” says Joyce Fox, the college’s director of marketing, communications and student recruitment. “The world of marketing and communications continues to change and it’s exciting to see that RDC is not only adapting to these changes well, but standing out among our peers.”
