Jordan Spence, eight, checks to see if French fries and a burger hanging from a 1956 Crown Victoria are real outside Queen’s Diner in the Burnt Lake Industrial Park Friday night. A classic car meet complete with vintage music, barbecue, car rides and children’s games preceeded a drive in screening of Fast Company, a Canadian drag racing movie by David Cronenberg. Proceeds from the event organizers hope to make an annual affair benefit the Alberta chapter of Kids with Cancer which sends stricken children to summer camps.
