The Red Deer Rebels White, with Ty Mappin scoring twice, dropped the visiting Calgary Royals 5-3 in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League action Saturday at the Arena.
Mik Doell, Matthew Krusky and Tyler Chavez Leech also scored for the winners, who got a 38-save performance from Jayden Sittler.
In an earlier game, the host Red Deer Rebels Black were 4-3 losers to Leduc Allen’s Transport. Tyler Steenbergen, Dylan Houston and Chris Gerrie potted the Red Deer goals, while netminder Joey Desrosiers turned aside 31 shots.
