Red Cross celebrates 95th anniversary

Red Cross Alberta provincial director, Steve Armstrong thanks those gathered at the Red Cross office and volunteers who have worked for the Red Cross during a 95th Anniversary celebration in Red Deer on Thursday.

Since March 1st 1917 the Red Cross has been a permanent fixture in the region. Alberta MLA for Red Deer South and Minister of Intergovernmental, International and Aboriginal Relations Cal Dallas, and Alberta MLA for Red Deer North Mary Anne Jablonski along with members of Red Deer City council were also in attendance to help celebrate the milestone.
