Dustin Paul’s goal at 5:39 of the third period held up as the winner as the Red Deer King’s Energy Chiefs downed the Rocky Mountain House Royals 4-3 in midget A plus hockey.
Mitch Morrison, Jordan Joynes and Colton Levin also scored for the Chiefs, who led 2-1 and 3-1 by periods.
Justis Lowry had two goals for Rocky with Dalton Slager adding a single marker.
Raffiq Manji recorded the winning goal for Red Deer.
