Klaus netted three goals and Eric Reierson scored a pair as the Red Deer TBS Rampage doubled the Calgary Chill 12-6 in tier 1 junior B lacrosse action Sunday.Also scoring for the Rampage were Mitch Vellner, Matt Reierson, Spencer Lee, Tucker Dougherty, Pearce Just and Davis Reykdal, who along with Trey Christensen contributed three assists.

Adam Mooney and Darrian Banack shared netminding duties.

The Rampage opened weekend play with a 21-1 whipping of the visiting Rockyview Silvertips Saturday, getting four goals from Klaus, three from Just and two from each of Christensen, Braden Sparks and Eric Reierson.

Single goals were scored by Vellner, Dustin Reykdal, Lee, Jordan Hemstad, Reid Swier, Kevin Langlois, Davis Reykdal and Dion Daoust.

Davis Reykdal and Adam Ferguson each had four assists, with Lee, Swier, Davis Reykdal and Christensen chipping in with three helpers apiece and Mooney getting the netminding win.

• In junior B tier 2 play, the Red Deer Sword Transport Revenge beat Strathmore 6-5 Saturday and tied the Innisfail Yetti 11-11 Sunday.

The Revenge fired four second-period goals to beat Strathmore.

Kane Weik tallied twice for the Revenge, who got additional goals from Braeden Krips, who also had two assists, Ryan Strome, Brandon Magill and Taylor Campbell.

The Revenge fired 42 shots at the visitors’ net.

On Sunday, Shane Harris scored three times for the Revenge while Ryan Svederus and Alex Randall scored twice each. Karsten Banack and Krips added a goal and two assists each with single goals added by Campbell and Weik.

• The Red Deer peewee 1 girls team downed the Calgary Sabrecats 1 by an 8-6 count Saturday at the Collicutt Centre.
