Red Deer RCMP are looking for public help to identify a group of men who robbed and assaulted a man in the Normandeau neighbourhood on Aug. 22.
At about 5 p.m., a 25-year-old man was walking in the area of Nordegg Crescent when he was attacked from behind. He was kicked and punched repeatedly before the assailants took his cellphone and a small amount of cash.
The victim was treated at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for numerous injuries to his face. He was attacked by between two and four Caucasian men who left the scene in a small, sporty black car.
