Red Deer represents well at Lacrosse tournament

The Chiefs II lost 4-3 to the Calgary Axemen I in the midget B final while the Kneehill Bulldogs beat the Medicine Hat Sun Devils 8-2 in the third-place game. Innisfail and Lacoka tied 2-2 in their playoff game while Olds Stinger stopped Sherwood Park Titans 7-5 to take seventh place and the Red Deer Chiefs I downed the Edmonton Wizards 5-2 to finish ninth.

In the bantam B division, the Chiefs II lost 5-4 to the Calgary Knights in the final while Kneehill beat Innisfail 3-0 to take third.

Lacoka stopped Medicine Hat 8-2 to finish seventh while Sherwood Park downed the Chiefs III 2-1 for ninth and Innisfail edged the Chiefs I 5-4 to take11th.

In peewee A the Edmonton Warriors downed the Chiefs 10-4 in the final while in novice B the Warriors stopped the Chiefs IV 8-2 in the final.

The Warriors I downed the Chiefs I 7-3 to take third place in the novice division.

The Sylvan Lake Buccaneers defeated the Chiefs II 7-4 to finish fifth while Lacoka downed the Chiefs III 6-5 for seventh.

Olds downed the Warriors IV 8-3 for 11th and Leduc stopped Kneehill 6-1 for 15th.

The Lacoka Locos won the peewee B title with an 8-3 win over the Sylvan Lake Buccaneers.

The Chiefs II stopped the Warriors II 4-2 for third place while the Chiefs I downed the Warriors I 7-2 for fifth. The Chiefs III and Medicine Hat tied 2-2 in the seventh-place game while Sylvan Lake and Leduc tied 5-5 for ninth. The Calgary Axemen beat Kneehill 8-0 for 11th.
