Red Deer teen identified as Calgary murder victim

A Red Deer teenager has been identified as the victim of a homicide in Calgary over the weekend.Levi Marance, 18, died early Sunday morning in hospital. He was found by Calgary Police Services, who received a call of a man in medical distress in the 4000 block of 19th Street NW at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.He was taken to hospital but died a short time later.

Two people have been charged been charged with second-degree murder: Jesse Sky Copenance, 18, and a 17-year-old male. The 17-year-old can’t be identified because of provisions in the Canada Youth Justice Act.
