A middle-aged woman missing for more than two weeks has police asking for the public’s assistance in tracking her down.

A middle-aged woman missing for more than two weeks has police asking for the public’s assistance in tracking her down.

Red Deer RCMP issued a release asking for more information on the whereabouts of Shelley Opdendries, 44, of Red Deer.

She was last seen on June 1 in Red Deer. Police said she may have travelled to the Vancouver area but this has not been confirmed.

Police describe Opdendries as Caucasian, about 1.75 metres (five foot nine) tall and weighs about 50 kg (100 pounds). She has brown hair, brown eyes and wears contacts.

Anyone with information on Opdendries whereabouts is asked to contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
