Red Deer tyke Jase Nelson will be a featured singer on the Calgary Stampede’s Window on the West stage.

The WOW stage is located in the BMO Centre on the Stampede grounds, in the midst of the Western Oasis. It offers a chance to enjoy both established and up-and-coming entertainers — from western and folk musicians to cowboy poets and comedians.

As well, lectures and demonstrations with a western flair will be done on the stage surrounded by the inspiring work of western artists and artisans.

Nelson, who was seven years old last November when he shared the role of Chip in the Red Deer College musical Beauty and the Beast, will perform on Thursday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 17, at 4:30 p.m.
