The victory gave the Redhawks a 4-1 win in the best-of-seven Presidents Cup series. Carstairs will compete in the AA category of the provincial AA/A finals March 30-April 1 in Dewberry, while the Eagles will play in the A division.

Scoring for the Eagles Sunday were Tyler Doherty, Scott Kallis, Adam Knopp and Sean Neumeier. Wade Waters stopped 34 shots for Innisfail, with Redhawks netminder Jasen Kipling making 26 saves.

The Eagles extended the series with a 7-3 victory Saturday at Innisfail, getting two-goal performances from Knopp and Jeffery Clazie and singles off the sticks of Kallis, Neumeier and Drew Coles.

Waters came up big for the Eagles, turning aside 48 shots. Kyle Seidel made 27 saves at the other end.
